Information minimization

The production website should collect only the information necessary to respond to requests, manage participation, issue donation receipts, and provide communications selected by the user.

Separate consent

Submitting a contact, participation, or donation form should not automatically subscribe anyone to a newsletter. Newsletter consent must remain separate and optional.

Donor privacy

Donor information should be used only for processing contributions, issuing receipts, meeting legal obligations, and providing communications explicitly requested by the donor.

Production legal review

The final privacy policy must identify the legal entity, payment and form providers, retention periods, applicable rights, data location, security practices, and contact information.
